We have three types of membership described below with our membership form at the end of the page. We hope you will join us!

Individual and Couples Membership

There are many reasons to be a member of our Civic Society:

• You may have wonderful childhood memories of our town, enjoy being a regular visitor, or live in Ludlow and wish to help us protect this special place.
• You can enjoy an interesting programme of talks, trips and social functions
• You may have an interest in buildings, museums, townscapes and history and want to meet and socialise with like-minded people.
• You may have ideas and energy to support our mission and wish to become involved in our work
• You can enjoy receipt of our bi-annual magazine “Heritage News”

Whatever your reason, you can be sure of a warm welcome, fascinating talks and trips, interesting articles in our bi-annual Heritage News magazine plus access to decades of Heritage News issues on-line and much more.

Your modest membership fee is essential to our success, and we are very grateful to those who even having left Ludlow still choose to support our work by continuing their membership.

Individual membership £16 per year.
Couples membership £30 per year.


Corporate Membership

There are many good reasons for a business, charity or organisation to be a member of our Civic Society:

• Your income may depend on the tourist trade, so you recognise that understanding the appeal of Ludlow is one of the keys to your success
• You may provide services to visitors and residents of Ludlow and want a greater understanding of the town, it’s architecture, conservation and environment.
• You may work in construction or restoration and wish to expand your knowledge of our conservation areas, good building and restoration practice and play a practical role in protecting our town’s future.
• You have services to offer members of the Civic Society and being a member raises your profile through the advertising on offer.

Additionally you can benefit from:

• Free advertising space on our website and in our bi-annual Heritage News magazine
• Free places for up to three people to attend our Monthly 3:30 pm talks
• the Delivery of three copies of our bi-annual Heritage magazine

Corporate membership £50 per year.
